Trek Madone Passion Project

Passion Project

Intro:
As the semester came to a close, I was tasked with creating a passion project.  I am very passionate about creative design, and in particular, creative bicycle design.  For my project, I decided to start with the 2016 Trek Madone frame.  This a beautiful bike and all around amazing machine.  However, it is lacking in the visual department will a less than stunning livery.

Inspiration:
For my inspiration, I gathered elements from my three favorite things, bikes, cars, and America.  I used elements of grayscale decals found on Ken Blocks Ford Escort, the polkadots of the mountains classification leader in the Tour de Francs, and the basic color concept of the American flag.  I also gathered knowledge from the bikes of the Red Hook Crit as they often feature elaborate paint jobs.
